Character Designer, Michael Kutsche is a self taught award-winning artist based in Germany. With a unique approach to imaginative character creation, he has built a distinguished career designing zany and delightful characters on Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”, Andrew Stanton's “John Carter of Mars”, Steven Spielberg's Robopocalypse", and Kenneth Branagh's "Thor".

Working in both in traditional and digital media, his work is described as "An astoundingly lifelike depiction of parallel realities, populated by odd characters reminiscent of movies, comics but also Flemish Renaissance Painting". Some of his clients include; Disney Studios, Dreamworks, Marvel Studios, Sony Imageworks, Warner Bros., SEGA, The Creative Assembly, Saatchi&Saatchi.

When not completely immersed by film industry projects he has his own side projects, including paintings for future exhibitions, and book projects.
